GLASS WORLD

Some feel they should take the wheel
Some will wait their turn
It all depends on how you feel
And how you look at the world

The world looks big through my window
I'm not part of the scene
The world looks small through my mirror
'Cause all I see is me

Such a fragile place
You're almost scared to touch it, just in case it breaks
Breaks upon you

Take a look in the mirror
There's more to life than you think
When you only see what you want to see
Then your world begins to shrink
Take a look out the window
That's not a crack in the sky
It's just a stain on the windowpane
Still the light gets in your eyes

Which side of the glass are you on?
Which world are you a part of?

There's so much more behind the door
if you'd only take a peek
There's new places to be explored
New journey's to take

Such a fragile place
You're almost scared to touch it, just in case it breaks
Breaks upon you

CHORUS

Which side of the glass are you on?
Which world are you a part of?

CHORUS

Which side of the glass are you on?
Which world are you a part of?
Who knows?
That's how it goes
Nobody knows

MR BAILEY

I see you struggle every day

I watch you from above
You need a hand
I watch your dreams slip away

Just like the ones you love
I cannot stand to see this tragic scene
Someone has to intervene

Oh Mr Bailey - don't give up on life
You'll see there's a reason for your trouble and your strife
If you offer up the Earth

The pain you suffer just might be deserved

I see each hardship you endure
Each compromise you make
You'd like to get away
But they needed you around
And so you settled down and built a town
Now you want to throw it all away
Well, not today - I won't stand by and watch you die

CHORUS

Oh Mr Bailey - don't give up on friends
Though it seems like they don't care

They'll be there in the end
If you say you want the moon
They'll throw a rope and pull it down for you
